Although the hatching time will be quicker beside higher temperature, the lifespan of Apple (actually golden mystery snails, Pomacea bridgesii, since true Apple snails are no longer legal to be sold) will be shorter if you save them with tropical fish. They prefer cooler dampen and can live for 10 years at room temperatures, but solitary 2-3 if the temperature is above 76o.
