How do I stop my Koi drinking pebbles and eventually dying from excess rocks surrounded by their belly?
Answers: well normally koi eat pebbles or munch through...and then spit out to bring back alagae or bacteria to be exact not harmful to them unless your reservoir is without a filter system. if he is actually swallowing them and you can find bumps within his stomach where they're at inside him next i would replace them with larger rocks or sand.(only do that if you somehow know that the rocks are stuck contained by his digestive track)
Replace the small rocks with sizeable river rocks.
