New guppy container?
Answers: Since you hold a 65 gallon tank, you could confidently treat it as a regular waterchange for the 65
you can take out 10 gallons of it and put it into your bright 10 gallon, and just replace the dampen in the 65 near new conditioned sea, that way you hold done an easy waterchange but at like peas in a pod time a new cistern started
Also take out some gravel from your 65, which also holds some of the microbes
You can also squeeze the filtercartridge from your 65 into your 10, and you have microbes in in that
I would wait at tiniest 1 week though, for the new filter to establish and later add your guppies
and yes you can testing your water
nitrite and ammonia are suppose to be at 0 and nitrates are suppose to be at 20ppm
Hope that help
Good luck

What makes the sea ok is when certain beneficial germs start to grow in the reservoir. Also, of course, when the wet conditioner kicks contained by and removes all the unpromising stuff in the marine! lol Check petsmart for the beneficial bacteria starter. It doesn't really issue how long you wait for the marine to become ready...24 hours is ok. However, longer is better. Some relatives do indeed prefer to leave the cistern up and running for 24 hours. One more thing...You might want to remove the gravel and rinse it to remove dust and small particle before you put it within (they can harm the fish. a short time ago use regular tap water)
