My fish hold septicemia, please read for more info!?
Answers: An important point to data about septicemia is that it is a symptom, not a disease.
More than one bacterial pathogen can wreak this, although the most common is aeromonas (Vibrio is also a adjectives cause, especially contained by more alkaline waters)
Aeromonas is also much more common when conditions are not at their best and can also be internal, so prevention is VERY noteworthy.
Most fungal treatments will not treat the pathogens that cause septicemia. The Maracyn- Two is a better choice, and probably better would be a Kanamycin/Nitrofurazone combination.
The brackish would be a good condition and not one and only to aid in the treatment but more for its aid contained by improved osmotic function and ORP (Redox Reduction). Other elements are defining here as well such as calcium and magnesium.
I would also suggest a medicated tub using Methylene Blue at double tank strength for 30 minutes twice per time (please throw away the treatment water after respectively bath)

EDIT:
Your feeder block may powerfully have contributed as copious of these contain yeast and can really pollute (especially the Banquet Blocks).
Since aeromonas is much more prevalent in poor river quality any over feed as well can be a crucial factor.
I would cut back on feed and use a lower polluting food (more digestible) at least for presently such as Spirulina 20.
Please check all your dampen parameters; contained by particular, your ammonia and nitrites; if lofty continue regular but not too disruptive sea changes. Also consider a product call Prime for your water conditioner as it neutralize ammonia and nitrites.
Keeping a stable KH will go far too, as this will prevent harmful pH swings that can be caused by nitric acerbic production when a tank is over feed.
The only other product I know of that works for septicemia is Interpet anti-internal germs but may not be available in the US.( I'm from UK). I would most really use salt as this will comfort reduce the stress on the fish by easing the osmotic pressure.Use a righteous quality aquarium saline at 0.9%- 9 grams per litre of water but affix this over 3 days.
Septicemia is caused by an internal germs so is unlikley to caused by the events you describe, it is usually surrounded by the fish when you purchased them or poor water element - I would check your levels of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate anyway.
honourable luck :-)
