His friend died a few months ago and then my dad broke his really big reservoir and we had to move him to a smaller one, right after his friend died. He won't stir after the food like he used to and he lately sorta floats around and swims really weakly near the bottom of the cistern. He didn't even touch his food when I fed him only just. He gets feed every day. It seem though that some days he is okay enough to devour and other days he just sits nearby. What should I do? Please help!!
Answers: possibly you and your father should try both getting a larger tank and finding another goldish to replace the one that passed away. goldfish are exceedingly social creatures, and i'm sure that the change contained by environment (i.e. from living in a mansion to living within a dorm room) and having a trial friend for your fish will help it to get the impression better.
