I think you are seeing effects of ammonia or nitrite present surrounded by your tank. Again as I said back, check your ammonia and nitrite levels surrounded by the tank. Jon V is right ! The container is not a mature container in expressions of the nitrogen cycle. The same thing start to mine when I first got it. Mine done up dying cause i couldn't integer out what was worng. But in a minute I have a 40 gallon reservoir and I have nearly 5 cichlid and many more fish!!
