Snail's shell have some algae, is that doomed to failure?

Algae comes and goes contained by my small tank, the one snail have some algae growth on shell, is that bad for him?


Answers:    The algae will not hurt the snail any, but if it bothers you you can remove the algae from his shell by taking him out of the reservoir and scrubbing the shell next to baking soda and water using a toothbrush, after rinse him well and return him to the cistern.
no i had alike problem it didn't hurt it
