Bettas next to Peacock Eels?

I have a considerable tank beside female bettas. They are adjectives living happily within a well suspended and oraganized community with my red feminine being the dominate one.
I only just found out about Peacock Eels. I've never owned anything remotely resembling them and I'm very interested within getting a few. I have several tank in my house but my largest, the feminine betta community tank is what I thought would be the best for them.
I'm insecure thought because as a betta breeder I've seen bettas show aggression to things that most deem wouldn't bother them.
Has anyone ever tried this combination before? What be the outcome?

Answers:    I honestly haven't tried it myself, but Peacock eels are usually classified as semi-aggressive...which should technically work out with your bettas. (though not adjectives semi-aggressive will...I wouldn't recommend putting them with gourmies or anything such as that) From what I've see, the eels aren't usually very involved, so if anything it would be the bettas picking on the eel. I'd say buy one and confer it a try... observe them closely for the first few hours though. Most stores hold a return policy of at least a few days so if contained by any case they don't catch along, you could just clutch the eel back!
how sizeable is the tank. eels stipulation about 55 gallons mini, some species are larger.

and likelihood are that the adult eels will enjoy no problems eatting a betta.

You best looking into kukhli loaches. eel in shape , smaller, and much more community cistern friendly.

they should go merely fine. Keep in mind that eels burrow and can smoothly escape if you have a nippy betta. Down side is they find stuck in things and you never see them during the morning.

Any small semi-aggresive tank mate is alright, but I would avoid small bottom dwellers.

The Peacock eel have a tiny mouth, but when full sized may eat image shrimp.

I trained mine to eat thaw blood worms from a turkey baster near its obverse. This gets the food to them since the bettas get a randomness to eat it adjectives.

Good choice for an eel, very glib to care for.
