What is the best anemone for a clown fish?

my tank is 55 gal. it hs give or take a few 40lbs of live rock. uv light, dry sump exc. if you entail any more info just email me

Answers:    That would depend on the species of clown. Clowns and anemones are species-specific. That's to vote certain species of anemones will individual host certain species of clowns - you enjoy to find ones which are compatible with respectively other. See this link for compatiblity: http://www.bestfish.com/tips/032698.html

Rather than "UV" you necessitate to look at the intensity of the lighting - a compact fluorescent or T-5 lighting system is the absolute minimum, some should own a metal halide if the tank is insightful. With 40 lbs of live rock, the rock won't be too close to the top of the tank, so you might want to hold that in mind when placing the rock. The closer the anemone will be to the surface, the more intense the lighting will be.

See the interconnect below on anemones in a sub aqua aquarium (lots of info!).
