How habitually should i check for nitrites and nitrates surrounded by my 30 gallon saltwater aquarium?

Answers: I check mine once a week...have done so since i lost adjectives of my fish.

I check everything once per month UNLESS one of my corals or fish looks like at hand is something wrong with it, Then I check right away.
