Pet FISH??
Answers: completely depends on the generous of fish (as well as their size) - some: a few days, others can step for weeks without food. What humane of fish do you have? how generous is it?
ADD ON:
A full sized goldfish can go up to 2 weeks minus food. However, at 3" long it's still a juvie (they can grow to a good 12" or so unless your reservoir size is restricting his growth at which point he'll just be stunted next die when he can't grow anymore) so I wouldn't go more than 5 days in need food at that size.
TIP:
If you're going away it's good to prepare them by slowing down their metabolism. Goldfish should be feed once per day so once he is on simply one feeding per daylight - prepare him by feeding every other morning. That'll slow down his metabolism and make him store more food contained by his system.
depends on the size of the fish... i sometimes skip a day... sometimes contained by the wild, food isn't available... it make them more active when i do nurture them... but i dont really do that often.. but to answer your grill... like i said, it depends. Jon
