Arowana bites?

in expierince beside my fish ive recieved some nasty scratch from his little teeth has anyone else see this behavior. not the biting but the poin that my whole arm be in the cistern and he wasnt affraid of it at all its so wierd any other fish i can infer of would stay far away


Answers:    well, owning an arowana, I ponder I know why. theyre hungry! they get to be 4 foot long, and will eat anything they presume they can get their mouths around. your wiggle fingers must have be on the menu!
It's normal for a fish as aggressive as an Arowana to attack anything that invades it's kingdom. I've had like thing begin with Oscars and other milieu to large sized cichlids.
