Answers: My god yes!! Id say smaller quantity then a week but self put her in the box freshly to be safe! Shes remarkably very black whitch tell me shes ready to pop!! lol. keeping her within the box for a week will not be cruel. I keep mine contained by for 2 weeks then when she give birth let her get better in a 28L reservoir and now 2 weeks on shes pay for in at hand. This way i dont loose any fry. Best of luck!!
(You probably already know but remove mum once babies are born as she will drink them.)

if your guppy has small guppies, it will put away them or the other fish will eat them...newly seperate it from the babies in the box once it have had them
