My goldfish wont guzzle! serve!?

Heres how it started:
my mom brought a stress reducer and one day she changed the reservoir. The fish stood at the bottom, so my mom thought it was best to put the stress reducer. Problem be, the fish is supposed to be OUT of the water when the droplets are put within. She put it in while it be in the hose. We waited a time, and it didnt eat. The reservoir was changed beside water that be left till room warmth so that the fish wouldnt have to adjust to the warmth. The fish doesnt look like it have a disease but it stays at the bottom and has a few red vein in the rear legs fin, which means its underneath stress. It wont eat and it hasnt eat for 3 days. Is the reason why it wont chomp through because of how the stress reducer was added since the fish was taken out or is here another reason to it? and will the chemicals wear sour and the fish will begin to put away again?

Answers:    There are several causes of the problems you described following a hose down change. The most adjectives causes are using dampen direct from the tap, swiftly changing the container temperature and varying too much water at one time.

When varying water, use preconditioned slap water or distilled bottled wet. Except in extreme cases, you should amend no more than 1/4 (25%) of your tank's water per week. Goldfish don't similar to extreme temperature change so do your best to maintain the tank's temp when varying water.

Your marine temperature seem to have be ok. Next time, use distilled bottled or pre-conditioned tap marine, ok?

Make sure you are testing your container water. The Ph should be between 7.0 and 7.6 for most gold ingots fish. Ammonia and Nitrite levels should be nil. Also, test the Ph of your thump water if using it for waterchanges. Goldfish are amazingly sensitive to rapid change in Ph and can become in poor health and otherwise lethargic from swift Ph changes.

The red streaking contained by your fish's fin is commonly caused by Ph man too high contained by the tank. The problem can also be septicemia, fin congestion or tail rot. The bring can be high Ph and/or bacterial and/or fungal infection.

Don't verbs so much about feed the fish. When hungry, goldfish will eat. Focus on ensure healthy hose down.
