Will My Fish Die With A Torn Tail?
HELP!!!!!!
Answers: Yes, it can survive, dont worry, its not that big of a traffic. BUT, it i recommend you increase the fishtank temperature to around 75 degree, and add a table spoon of AQUARIUM SALT per ten gallons, not TABLE SALT, table saline can kill your fish, merely aquarium salt at the store. If the tail is getting worse, and you discern reddening at the base, your fish have Fin Rot, once again no big deal, but it have to be dealt near. Go to the store and pick a packet of Jungle Buddies antibiotics for Fin Rot, or Tetracycline, Tri Sulfa, etc, ask a worker, they will help you. Good luck!
sorry, I am not that knowledgable on fish, but I hold seen relatively a lot of fish next to torn fins.
I mean contained by the wild and within tanks. how long they live, resourcefully the ones in the container I never saw die.
hope that is alittle comfort until you find out.
If its fin rot than yes he could die unless you treat the tank next to stress coat I think that is to say the right stuff when you are at the store to buy it ( if you plan to buy it) make sure you read the bottle to spawn sure I am right
yes, your fish will not die becaues his tail got torn. He will be fine!! do not verbs. he will just swim a bit slower for a while.
Yes, they can survive without element of their tails. (For example, see one of my recent questions). Do, however, isolate that fish for a short time while so you can treat it to prevent infections. I'm using Melafix and he's doing great. It will take time for it to grow rear, but if it's not taken off too far put money on, it will grow back.
they will inevitability extra care and if you do that they will recuperate slowly
yes
