Is it innate for Pumping (pulisng) Xenia to "pump" adjectives darkness?

they have beenpumping for 3 days straight and come across a little tired. are they hungry and thats why they dont stop pumping? the guy at the LFS say theyll be fine but i just dont want them to pump to annihilation (:

Answers:    Xenia get most of their nutrients from insubstantial, so I doubt they are hungry. What type of lighting are you using? Are they getting enough dampen flow? Sometimes they pulse less when surrounded by low flow. You may also want to test your Iodine level, as they may stop pulsing if enough Iodine isn't present. They should close up when the lights are sour, but I wouldn't worry give or take a few them getting tired, as that's what they do, pulse. :-) It may help too, if you post your other river parameters.
