Answers: You do not seem to be prepared to set up a quarantine container, so you may as well treat your fundamental tank especially since ich infestations spread through the entire cistern.
(2) You can use a seasoned sponge filter
(3) most definetely as ammonia poisoning will only brand your problem worse
I recommend reading this article from the site I get most of my aquarium info:

I decision you luck
Your best bet is to go ahead and purchase a space heater and small sponge filter. If you have multiple fish surrounded by the tank that enjoy ich, slowly raise the sea temperature to around84-86 degree. Preferably over the period of a couple days. Add aquarium brackish at approx 1 tsp per gallon. Keep the temperature up for a week or two. This shortens the energy cycle of the ich and allows treatment without any medication. As far as the tank need cycled, I keep a spare sponge filter surrounded by one of my tanks merely for situations like this. You can treat the hose down, install the heater and the seed filter and have an instant hospital/quarantine reservoir.
