How oodles gallons will i have need of for 4 guppies?
Answers: For 4 guppies I recomend a stripped minimum of a 5 gallon tank. If you plan on breeding guppies though you will want approaching a 30 gallon or somewhere around there. Always, the bigger the container, the more guppies you can have and overcrowding is not such a polite thing any.
Sure, get a sucker fish if you want they will do great. I own one small one right now. And they do save the plants, rocks, glass, etc. verbs. It's just that the algae disks you bestow them cloud the water weakly so I dont recommend you feed those habitually because they will eat the fluent tank algae along beside flake foods you give the guppies.
Any algae eater is fine though I would capture a pleco if I were you. I enjoy a pleco. You can also get a cory catfish. They will be fun to monitor.
The rule of thumb is 2 to 3 female guppies to every 1 masculine. If you had 2 feminine and 2 male the womanly would die faster that way from masculine breeding attempts. Guppies that I do know of like hiding places, espeacialy plants and rocks.
Here is a guppy breeding contact that has great info and lately a basic guppy caution guide. Good luck ;)

10 gallons the bigger you have the more they will enjoy.
