How big can oto fish (algae eaters) can take?

I just bought two algae eaters and I want to know how big they can receive I also want to know how can I tell their sexual category. Thanks!


Answers:    They usually stay 1 1/2 to 2 inches at the very most. Unfortunately, within aren't any obvious differences surrounded by the genders save for males being slightly smaller than females of alike age.
I have see one about 8" long. It be pretty expensive too. I have not see any specifics on gender. The one I saw be black and looked like a catfish beside a shark"s tail.
