Bought small red belly pacu,will it be ok next to my oscar witch is a short time larger?

they may combat both fish are territorial, but both of mine is still alive and i had them for nearly a year. it depends on the aquarium size... i put them in a 10 gal and they go crazy so i had to put them stern in my 55 gal cistern.

pacus get to be just about 30 inches and 60 lbs. there is one at my aquarium thats the size of a bumper pool table. you necessitate a massive tank for a pacu. also, the oscar will drink the danios. but to actually answer your cross-question, that pacu will grow extremely fast. time to win a 4500 (yes 4500) gallon tank!
