I am using acetone and I was wondering how the easiest road to get the paint sour is?? Can u just dip the model contained by the acetone?? thanks

Answers:    Rubbing Alcohol works. However it does whiten the model. If you progress to this website they give you tips on how to remodel your breyer horse model.

I use buoyant ,light sand weekly and rubber gloves. Acetone might work...Make sure to put rubber gloves on though because it can really ruin your hands!
that should work but i'm not so sure that diping it would be a devout idea, acetone melt acrylic nails so it might mess up the model if its exposed for to long
Acetone will melt the plasitc and misform the model if you submerge the horse within acetone. Also it softens the plastic and you'll get fingerprints surrounded by it and weaken the legs and ears. Either whipe the paint stale with acetone or paint thinner but use a lint free scarf as particles of lint will stick within the soft plasitc, or as someone said use fine sand paper. Or you can only sand the model's seams and any rough spots within the paint and then airbrush the model beside primer.
Acetone will damage the resin of the model.

If you're trying to repaint, freshly cover the model in white primer, and start from here!
