Answers: It doesn't hurt to call and ask the farrier, even if it is lately for the peice of mind. He will be fine until Tuesday; just do not ride him and craft sure that if you keep him within the stall that you at least kind sure that you walk him around and consent to him stretch. If it get at all muddy where on earth he will be staying; be careful as it will verbs shoes off and if it is really gaping mud can pull muscles and tendons.

The best thing would be to keep hold of him in his stall, or small nouns until you can get the farrier out. If you are really worried you can do the good feeble diaper/duct tape/vet wrap pad on the foot. Or buy one of those plastic shoe cover things for the subsequent time the horse throws a show.
My horses are all barefoot and as long as yours is kept on soft ground it should do fine until the shoer get there. Why don't you look into going shoeless. It's improved and then you don't own to worry roughly your horse throwing shoes. My oldest horse has gone almost 28 years minus shoes riding on all sorts of terrain, working cows, trail riding, giving curriculum and doing dressage. He's never been lame. He'll be fine basically dont have any one ride him and gross sure u and your daughter come down there every daytime and just thieve him to a small arena and let him run around within there because horses do become board within there stalls so hold them do somthing that isnt riding him
You can wait to ring up. The horse should be fine if it's a simple loss of shoe. If a large chunk of hoof wall come off beside it, you can apply duct tape to the hoof to protect it from further harmed. Just wrap up the outer wall so the chunked out area is in good health covered. You can also tape up the edging of the sole a bit in the process, but avoid tape in the unbroken sole if you can. Our farrier has have us do this in days gone by as we had one guy who'd hook his current shoe in the fencing and verbs his shoe off. I caught him doing it sometime. Up to then, it be a real puzzle as to how he be losing new shoes and huge chunks of hoof wall. We "thought" he only just had really poor foot, added supplements and hoof clips to no avail. If your horse is limpy, you may want to confine it to a stall for comfort or be sure to keep it on soft footing.

yerr he should be fine, my dads horse is always throwing hers and sometimes have to wait a week or so in the past the farrier can come out. He just don't ride her.

The individual time it's an emergency is with corrective or special shoeing where on earth the horse will have problems or be disproportionate with out one. That partly inch difference really doesn't bother them outdoors because the ground is never level anyhow, their foot are always slightly different she'll basically move a foot if it bugs her. If she has "chippy" foot duct tape will relief protect them till the farrier makes it.
