Pulling a tail?

okay im going to a horse show and im braiding my ponies tail and his at the top has short hair how do i pull them?
Answers: Don't verbs them. Instead mousse the hair and wrap it surrounded by a tail bandage until right up to that time the class. This will help the tresses lay flat. Pulling it is just going to form it grow back as spikey as up to that time, since the hair does not hold a chance the grow out.
Here's a upright link to the Horse and Hound and an article that covers pulling tail and it has some accurate tips.

Both lisa m and Paint Pony have outstandingly good answers. In between: If you enjoy a few hairs you want to verbs, wearing a pair of rubber gloves for better grip, a short time ago pull. Not more than a few at a time. By doing what Paint Pony said, you can spare yourself the hassle of pulling as it wants to be done every time. However, for some shows and classes, the pulled look is preferrred and/or expected, but not as drastic as the picture in Lisa's article as you read out you are braiding. I assume you mean stray hair that don't want to braid, although that pulled tail does look cool! If the pulled hairs around the braid look isn't required or vital, go next to the wrap and mousse option. Then you won't enjoy to keep pulling for every show.
do you know, i never pulled my horses mane or tail - i slways feel sorry for them, i would hate to own my hair pulled out basically for fasion.
you can use stong hair gel to break the hairs.
using a tail lint helps too.
i wouldnt verbs them out because they are always going to enjoy short hairs at the top from rubbing their tail and if you maintain pulling them out everytime you braid the tail your going to have no tail departed. just use gel to hold on to them down. try to avoid hairspray cuz it makes them itchy and they will rub out your braid.
i verbs my mares tail after exercise...i bathe it contained by warm river to open the pores. i use blunt concluded pliers to take out a FEW hair at a time.
i agree with paintpony.
you dont verbs them
