How much did you discharge for your saddle??
Answers: i own a saddle and tack store in norco,ca and it adjectives depends on what kind of saddle you are looking for, the size of your horse is most essential and that determines the tree size you will need, consequently of course your form size. you can get a righteous new synthetic starting at $300.00 and up depending on the style, and they hold come along way beside the synthetics you can get them contained by full quarter, extra-wide, and flex-trees now as all right. you can get tex sunburn saddles from around $ 1,050 and up for there trail saddle and they are nice saddles, nearby tex flex saddles are incredibly nice and those start at $1400.00 and up. circle y same start at about $ 1,150.00 for here park and trail and there flex 2 saddle are awesome those start at $1,450.00 and up. the imus 4 beats are greatly very nice too, those start at $1,450.00 and up. it simply depends what you want and what you need. be particularly careful order online though you cant really determine how well it might fit or if it is even the tree size you involve everyone measures differently... and you cant return it if it doesnt fit then your stuck next to a saddle that doesnt even fit your horse. a saddle with the route to try it on your horse or a return policy if it doesnt would be your best bet. if you have any more question you can contact me via e-mail or call adjectives tacked up @ 951-272-1243 ask for andrea
I bought my used hunt form saddle from a friend for 400 USD. It really depends on the type and quality of saddle. Although gross sure it fits both you and your horse.
I got my saddle for free from my mom. She have it twenty years ago and passed it on to me (she still uses it though because she is getting back into riding immediately that we have our own horse). It be an expensive saddle though. We are planning on purchasing a dressage saddle (around 1000-2000 dollars) and maybe a different all purpose close contact saddle (same price, conceivably a used one for less).

It all depends on what you are going to do on the saddle.
Will it be a working saddle. A worker is lone as good as his tools. For a cowboy that would be his horse first and after his saddle. A saddle isn't going to do you any good if it doesn't fit the horse and fit you. The best saddle is a custom made one. Of course I know I'm conversation about money here. My saddle that I make start at $2150, but most of my customers are some of the top ropers within the USA. Look around for a saddlemaker whose just starting out. You might ensnare them when their hungry and will cut you a deal.
I bought mine used from another rider at my barn. It's an English saddle (jumping) and to some extent used, so it was $300.
My first saddle, a Thorogood all-purpose saddle, be about $200. That be about 9 or 10 years ago though.
The subsequent saddle I got be a Collegiate close-contact, I think it be around $600.
I paid give or take a few $400(?) for my Wintec dressage saddle... I could be wrong on that price though.
My Big Horn cordura western saddle was $300.
And my end saddle was a used leather dressage saddle (I forget the brand, it's some cheap brand that's a knock-off of Passier saddle, but it's surprisingly well-made) that I bought from my trainer for $100.
Man, I'd forgotten that I've owned that many saddle.
i was soooo lucky to bring a reallly nice saddle seat saddle at a patio sale for 25 bucks!
it adjectives depends on what type of riding you do and what type of saddle you need, but my first saddle be a $250 flex rider close contact that i bought used, and then i bought the Dover Circut Pro for $1100 unknown..
All of mine are synthetic, my wintec Isabella Dressage was 300$, My Wintec Western be 175$, and my Thorogood all purpose be 150$.
Beware of buying a "cheap" saddle on eBay alot of their economy saddle are made in India poo. If you hear brands similar to "Ascot" or "Silver Fox" run away. Or anything that says "Western craftsmanship by eastern craftsmen."
My friend bought a courbette close contact on Dutch auction for 600$.

I actually work at one of the biggest tack shops contained by the eastern united states. you can pay packet anywhere from 300 hundred dollars for a synthetic saddle to 1200 for a basic trail saddle. what type of saddle are you looking to buy?
All depends on the saddle and where on earth you go. My Circle Y trail saddle be almost $1400 and I was fortunate adequate to catch a speed season close out ending month and got my Circle Y Barrel saddle for $900 (down from $1800).
The tack buyer in my nouns sells the Circle Y's at the most competitive prices. I also own a plain western saddle that I bought at an auction for $50 - it's got some tooling and such and it works great for broad use. My very first saddle be my mother's high college rodeo saddle (not the one she won but the one she competed with).
Ebay sells saddle cheap but with a saddle you seize what you pay for. I enjoy bought most of my saddles foreign with the exception of mom's and the auction one and I am merely using that for breaking out my filly. It hurts the pocket book to think in the region of shelling out a grand for a saddle but within the end it's resourcefully worth it. I know that Simco makes a gel form trail saddle that is sold pretty probably - but I am a big CY fan. Go for what you want but try to hold on to it to what you can afford - no sense in going into hock over a saddle. I would check your local horse auctions.
It incontestably depends on the type of saddle and the quality you are looking for. I ride within Pro Riders and Special Effx. Averaging them about $650.00 and $850.00 (I typically buy insubstantially used saddles to avoid the big sitting duck ups). The Special Effx saddles start, on mart for $1799.00 new. lol, I'm not that rich!

My dressage saddle I got bad of equinehits.com, it was used and solely $80. But a very markedly nice saddle for that price.
My Western Trail saddle I bought new online for lone $215. I expected it to be a piece of crap, but I just needed something to draw from my by for a bit. But it has in actual fact turned into one of the best saddles I've ever owned. It's a Cody Brand saddle and is suprisingly thoroughly well made for that price.
