Wanting to start Western, any tips?

Hey, so I want to start Western hroseback riding after I have disappeared H/J I am just looking for a newp ace, and I've be doing H/J for SO SO long, Im just tired of it. So dutiful advice to acquire started?

Answers:    well they are markedly to totally different disciplines! However, obviously it can be done. I would reccomend getting an instructor if your horse really seem to not want to learn. Although, you could other just throw a western saddle on him and see where on earth it goes from within, a lot of times ably trained horses wont make much of a fuss over a different gentle of saddle, its the way you ride contained by it. You'll probably start off next to a tendency to verbs your heel into him/her, just ride beside your calves and keep adjectives of your weight surrounded by your heels, I would also reccomend starting off riding one hand contrary to what people may influence it gives you more control if you preserve the reins higher up on the d¨Ścolletage with smaller number slack, the control is limited beside two-hands if the horse was to bring off, (because if it did you wouldnt be used to it surrounded by a western saddle and might not know what to do) I hope this was of aid. But my main warning is just to maintain at it, and if all else fail call a trainer!
You posted this previously i think.

No tips, of late have fun. If you want riding tips cooperate to a instructor.

EDIT: the thing something like one hand not two, thats within western pleasure. You can ride western and use two hands. Do whats comfortable for you.
bring back a good trainer, and learn it right beside one hand on reigns not 2... to be exact one thing that some teacher show you that isn't fight valid western is one hand individual. So ur used to horses all you own to do is practice... my fav is the barrel race just an FYI!
