Let me know what you think I can raise on / how you think I did... no insults please. Just functional, friendly advice and comments. Thanks! ^^
Answers: Your arena is a nice size might I affix! :)
As for your riding, your horse is a tad unmotivated. (As others have mentioned) Urge him on by every time you post up, squeeze for a time. Not noticably but just adequate to urge him on. Even if you carried a whip, showed him slightly at the side, and he'll know to preserve his act together!
Remember to correct your diagnol! Usually, (I've be riding for almost 12 years) I feel when I'm on the wrong diagnol, of late remember if it feels bad, to quickly peep down to his shoulder and correct yourself.
Your heel looks forward, try to remember to aline it with your shoulder and elbow. Just for a time behind the girth is usually right. And don't forget heels down ! Your leg looks somewhat swingy too, don't worry! It happeneds to a great deal of us until you fix it. Remember, this is probably caused because you're gripping beside your upper leg, which you're supposed to grasp with your inner calves. Try working short stirrups and posting trot, it may hurt but it's definately better. I even like it better to ride short stirrups then near stirrups!
I noticed when you be trotting away fromt he camera, your arms looked a tad stiff, and almost sticking out like chicken arms. Relax and walk with your horses motion. You'll bring it as soon as you relax, I promise! :)
Other than that, great start! And don't worry, everyone even the best riders hold things to improve on. :) Good luck!
Yes, your riding is fine, but your horse is a bit slow. You should urge him on a bit beside a squeeze from your legs. Also, your posting is very suitable, but try to lean over the saddle a bit more. Otherwise, you're off to a great start!
