Answers:    Are you disinfecting the girth and adjectives grooming tools? You could use diluted bleach on the girth.

Fungus needs moisture and high temperature to grow. A leather or rope girth would let the nouns breathe, whereas the neoprene holds the moisture and can build heat. If you are already disinfecting everything every time, I'd take the vet's suggestion and catch rid of the plastic.
Its girth itch. mostlikely. Use the micro tek shampoo and spray on him. that worked when our horses had it, and check your other horses, it spreads easyily
Hello. My mare have very sensitive skin and this have happened to her when I used neoprene boots and saddle. I couldn't receive rid of it, it just kept coming support. I went through a ton of products within my tack store and found two at CVS that work really great (I hate to not go my products, but this really does work). I use one of two things.first I immediatly switched to a leather girth with a sheepskin girth cover, after I bought yeast infection cream and athlete's foot spray. Both work really well...I similar to the spray better because it is easier. Both are antifungal agents and clear it up really quick. Hope this help.
get a exotic one
