Answers: That grill is like asking, "How long is a rope?" In other words, in attendance is no pat answer to your question. If you haven't already by very soon, it is a good time to hold a good condition exam by your vet. Have you had him adjectives his life? I would deem that in four years, a vet would own seen him, vaccinate and/or wormed him and if something was wrong, already said something...and if he have NEVER seen a vet, immediately would be a good time, especially if you hold doubts as to his conditioning.
Like a height/weight chart for horses?
I don't think here is one.
Mostly because there is so much difference between horses. Bone density and muscle mass can change widely within breeds, and comparing breeds is even more difficult.
It go more by proportion.
It takes an experienced eye to sort out "good flesh" on a horse.
Also, remember that horse scales are a rightly recent development. People own gotten along without them so long, I guess not a soul even thought to put something like that together.
See a vet for the best info.
They can enlighten you what's good for your specific horse.
My vet (specialist equine vet) give me a photocopy from one of her resource books about how to determine a horses weightiness.
It had something to do beside measuring the altitude and girth and doing some mathematical calculation.
So, yes, it can be done, but I can't recall where on earth she got the info. Ring your nearest racecourse or equine vet for more info.
a partially a ton give or appropriate 300 lb depending on the horse's individual genetic makeup.
horse weight= girth X girth X length / 330
length = point of shoulder to point of buttocks
I own two appendix's[ qh/tb] and one is about 1100 lbs, and the other is almost 1000 lbs. If he is a larger TB I would guess him to weigh around 1150-1200 lbs. If he is smaller, he might weight around 1100 or so. Just for insinuation sake here are pictures of each of mine:

Please minute: This is AROUND what they weigh. I personally have to find out when I was buying a horse trailer, so that I could know what the total weightiness of the horses and the trailer was so I could pick the right one for my SUV to verbs!
thats a picture of my tb on my avatar, he weighs 1200, is 16.1 he is 7 years frail and a very comfortable keeper
no pellet in summer and just 1 lb of grain within winter.
