First Time Horse Owner?
Answers: Perfectly normal. Go slow. Don't push yourself or the horse too much. He'll pick up on your vibe. It will be easier for him to trust you when you trust yourself...and him. Always be alert, but try to be soothing. It's as contageous as angst. Reward every good act or inaction as the case may be near assurance in your voice and handling along near firm, but not angry corrections followed by praise and gentle handling.
Congratulations on achievement a new friend! Good luck.
If I thought it would do me apposite, I'd be jealous! I longing I were contained by your shoes... or boots.
Definitely. I have in a minute had horses for over 20 years and still sometimes return with a little anxious around untrained horses. You just enjoy to be on top of your winter sport and ready for anything. Congratulations on getting your first horse!
