Stick Insect?

I recently get 2 stick insects from the science department of my college to take precision of but they know nothing roughly them. They're about 12cm long inc. legs and they are a leaf-green colour, adjectives i know is to give them privet leaves...do they drink? i don't know what species they are so i don't know anythin :o|

hope they are not male and feminine cause they will mate and the womanly will eat the manly.
they do like beer sometimes.no no newly joking, put a small dish near water for them.
