Ferret aid! bleeding from rectum, mucousy bloody poop?

hi

one of my ferrets final night we discovered have really mucousy bloody poop, and was bleeding from the rectum... there's not a sign of counterbalance loss at all, of late the bloody poop..

we ended up rushing him to an emergency pet hospital and the vet who be not a specialist in ferret, told me he would put him on a course of antibiotics and keep him near overnight, but overall he wasn't sure what was wrong...

anyone know? or enjoy an idea? and how severe it is?? I'm really really worried...

do u have a sneaking suspicion that he'll be ok?

Answers:    It is obviously bowl trauma and could be oodles things. The first thing that comes to my mind is a proliferated bowl. Were the stools black and tarry or in truth bright red?

Starting the ferret on antibiotics is not an uncommon course of management for something like this or an sore but action wants to be taken fast to find out what is going on.

I really hope you and your vet find a solution!
It sounds resembling he could have eat something that is tear him up a little while he is trying to miss it. I would give it a sunshine or so and then find a vet that have experience with ferret.
