Answers: well i dont really reflect u can buy inexpensive BIG chinchilla cages anywhere,u could do what my dad did for me for my chinchilla.
stir to a hardware storeetc. and buy a large multilevel cuboard(you should be capable of get one for around $100
generate sure it has doors on the front.
cut out most of the front and replace it near mesh wire and some of the sides.
cut a hole big plenty fr your chin to fit through in the corner of respectively level to engender room for a ramp or something else so your chin get from stratum to level.
and put a lock on the door so they cant amenable if the chinchilla pushes on them.
it would help to give up the bottom free (unacsessible by the chin,(no ramp or hole to go down))
so you store his food hay dustbath toys etc.
i attached hooks to droop his cube and hammock on etc.
i also made sure therewas enough room within the cage to fit his tiller before we brought the cuboard.

depending on how old u are u could bring your dad or other neighborhood handy man to do it for u for a small fee.
most commercialy sold chinchilla cage are way to small and more suitable for a rat or hamster sized animal.

there is no chin living surrounded by here at the moment,it usually has hammocks and branches and stff within it.
Cages are expensive.
No way around that.
See if you can return with a second hand one.
Look on craigslist.com, and contained by local newspapers.
Make one.
Look here, it say guinea pigs, but it'll work for Chinchillas if you put a lid on it.
