Dogs are better pet than cats?
Answers: Cats are about the easiest maitenance,adjectives you have to do is nurture and change litter. Dogs are more involved and fun,but they need alot of attention and alot of Vet visit for shots ect. I have 2 poms and they guzzle like 1- 40 lb pack of food every 6 mo.
my husband and i have a dog and 3 cats (guess who have which before we get married).
i love them all...but.
the dog go outside, gets dirty, comes inside and get the house dirty! the cats clean themselves.
the dog requests a "sitter" if we are going anywhere for any longer than the usual work day. the cats put away the food set out for them, use their litter box and sleep.
the dog begs and drools anytime we guzzle anything or even consider eating anything. the cats own no interest in those food.
again...i love them all..but surrounded by my opinion.cats are better pets.

Plus they are very affectionate.
Neither is better, they are a moment ago different. I have both.
As for feed, I put the food in the bowl, they guzzle. All are always smiling at feeding time.
I prefer cats over dogs one-sidedly. Cats are easier to take attention of, don't have to be walk or taken outside to potty, and make great companions. I enjoy four! I don't get the feed part of your cross-question. I give them food and they are cheerful.
