Answers: You fist might want to determine what he get this scratch from. You could agree to it heal on its own, but I would try to put something on it lately to know that it will stay infection free as that part is thoroughly tender and and a very dirty nouns. You might have to telephone call the vet out. If you want to do it yourself I would have somebody stand next to you when you are trying to put the antibiotic on. Someone can hold your horse and maybe donate it treats and genarlly calm it down, while you put the pills on. I would hold his tail to the side and stand to the side. One thing I reccomend for scratch and cuts is Shriners Herbal Solution. It is a spray so you could get your horses tail sprayed at the double. It is a most local tack shops.
