Answers: Since she individual has three legs, you may basically want to call your vet for an appointment instead of home remedies. She is at a disadvantage & is probably more mortified than most dogs being she individual has 2 right legs. However, if you wish, you can try the following. First look closely be sure in attendance isn't any noticeable objects, such as chalice, a thorn, pebble, etc. If so, try & remove, clean near hydrogen peroxide & put a little neosporin on it. Keep an eye on it, be sure it does not swell or colour. It should heal but for too deep surrounded by a few days providing dog doesn't continue to lick irritate it.
If you do not see any objects, check for any swellings, cuts, puntures or abrasion. If so, follow previous instructions. If wound does not heal within a few days or worsens, make vet appt.
It could also be an allergy. If irritated it can become moderately painful for a dog. You would want to see a vet & they may suggest an over the counter anti-hystamine.
If there is nothing noticable wounds it could be a cruciate ligament, sprain, etc. & obviously should be taken to the vet soon.
In any event try & keep hold of your dog still. Do not encourage play or running. Keep contained by a confined area if you cannot be beside her. Don't let her out unattended, tolerate her use the bathroom & back contained by. Obviously make her comfortable & lots of love. :O) Oh, don't consent to her lick it! She will lick it raw & later you have 2 problems. Good luck & she looks close to a sweetie. :O)
ADD- DO NOT give any Tylenol or newborn aspirin unless you have consulted a vet for type & dosage. Dogs cannot tolerate various aspirin products.
the only party who will know is your dogs vet please get your pet contained by immediately
