Answers:    "Many people who bring home crabs fresh from the pet store experience this contained by the first month of owning them -- the crabs seem to simply "fall apart" one leg at a time. Let me state for clarity, that this is not molting! What your crab is doing is responding to adjectives the stress of being taken from his tropical home, taken to a wholesaler's and next shipped to a pet store. That is a lot of stress on any animal (even culture!) and for a small animal like a ascetic crab, it can have devastating consequences."
Crab = hose down and short times out on sandy ground. They eat unconscious fish mainly. Lossing it's legs ably next it will die. They are not appropriate pets and not meant to be pets. Honestly pet shop owners will turn a buck on anything short care for it's energy. Next time get a mouse.
