Do capuchin monkeys carry dangerous diseases which can affect humans?

Answers:
Have you watched "Outbreak" recently? =)

I don't think you need to worry about anything that serious.
No, but they are hilarious when they wear diapers, and they say laughter is contagious.
Monkey pox, amoung other diseases can be carried by monkeys, especially if you can not verify they've been captive bred for several generations, with no wild blood added. I've heard of a case where hemmoragic fever was spread by monkeys as well, after they'd come in contact with infected rats. There is still a risk in captive bred, but no where near the risk of wild caught.
