I spotted a snake while standing at a pond in QLD Australia. It be some kind of marine snake, Under 2ft long and very table lamp colour, what kind ? It be in one of those ponds that are built for just now established neighbourhoods, and was feed by pipeing. I would assume the snake came through that. Someone told me that at hand are eels around, but from its behaviour, and requirement to keep its principal ABOVE water, I deliberate it is a snake. However, while not moving, it could stay still underwater, and even move under dampen for a short period.
Any suggestions on what it might enjoy been ?
Thanks

Sounds close to a young King Brown go in for a swim. They attain much larger. Without pics its hard for anyone to right to be heard, though. And yes, it's venomous.
