American boxer turtle?

How do I know if an American boxer turtle is the right pet for me. I already have five dogs, 3 goats, 2 rabbits, and a fish. I know that I'll be capable of keep it away from my dogs, but how do I know if it's right for me??

Box turtles are great but please be sure that your dogs don't seize ahold of it they are natural predators. Also be sure that it can hold a safe outdoor crate as well as a roomy indoor storage area.
