Am I feed my guinea pig ample of a miscellany?

My sweet little Guinea pig, Sid Vicious, survives mainly on babe carrots (10 or so a day), Timothy hay ( a big bunch of it), and store bought Guinea pig food. He doesn't munch through that much of the Guinea pig food, but loves the carrots and hay. Is he getting a perched diet?


Answers:    You need to introduce some other veggies that are highly developed in vitamins consequently baby carrot. My cavy loved his daily salad that consisted of: romaine lettuce, kale, collard greens, swiss chard, green bell pepper, spinach. He also was offered ginger slices a few times a week.

All of his food should be controlled as guinea pigs will overeat and become overweight. I would try giving him Romaine lettuce, piggies loveeee it!
