Answers: Anything they can chew, wood blocks, cardboad, etc. and LOTS AND LOTS of bedding so they can burrow. Gerbils also appreciate a running wheel ( not the ones near horizontal bars, those are made for hamsters, and it will appropriate off your gerbils' tail!) and a little hideout hut.
