Rat Question? Help?

I have have a rat for 6 years now and he is losing consignment really bad. He is also losing fuzz...HELP His cage have nothing surrounded by it that might contribute to this. He has never done this until that time
Answers: If you have have your rat for six years count yourself as exceptionally lucky, as rats generally simply live to be two or three years old!
Old rats tend to lose their hair-I own a three year old boy who is missing patch of hair- but you might want to check him for external parasites such as mites-
Your rat could be losing counterbalance for a number of reason, I would suggest a trip to the vet as your best bet-
In the mean time propose him a higher cooking oil diet that includes yogurt, and nuts to help beef him up.
Bare contained by mind that senior rats are prone to illness and will require more frequent visit to the vet, to keep them contained by top health.

I am amazed that you hold a six year old rat -Way to stir! you are doing something right to keep him alive that long!

the average lifespan of domesticated rats are from 2-5 years... your rat is probably really dated
Have you changed his/her diet recently or feed him/her anything different, anything it could be allergic to?
Sorry to have to inform you, but it sounds like he is soon going to do something else, that he never did until that time. Six years is a pretty good time for a rat. Just be thankful you have the opportunity to share that time with him.
Rat customarily live from 1-2 years, it's amazing yours has lived to see so various summers. It's probably just his time to progress, sadly. If you grain he may be suffering you should consider taking him to the vet and putting him down.

i know this may sound cruel but he maybe getting to mature and might be getting ready to endorse away but i hope for the best i hope he gets better
