What kindly of dull pain med can I pass my rat?

I can't remember which is fatal: tylenol or aspirin.
I know how much, I basically can't recall which.
Answers: You're going to hold to e-mail me privately on this one, spazrats@yahoo.ca. I have the answer for you but the ultimate lady who asked something like "Ibuprophen and rats" got her give somebody the third degree and all the answers delete after I answered her question. I guess someone, I suspect the CVT, didn't close to us talking almost meds for rats here on petqna.com.

What your boy has is degenerative hind-end paralysis which is adjectives in the elder male rat. Some rat-keepers hold used Metacam and that seems to work for a while. I have a boy that recovered with the use of homeopathics.

Definitely don't give tylenol. Ever.

In reality, don't give your rat any mode of meds without consulting your vet first. It would be a pretty dumb process to kill your rat.
I didn't know you can make available rats ANY meds.!

Have had rats, and beside their usual tumors in out-of-date age,.. the poor things had to suffer while it grew.
Why are you wanting to tender to your rat? What for?

I do know with cats you shouldn't offer aspirin,.. causes bleeding of the stomach,... cats are especially sensitive to.
With dogs you can give Tylenol or Aspirin, if have need of be.

With rodents, I wouldn't give anything,... even if deem safe,.. the amount would be so chancey,.. they're so small that their system is diaphanous.
Besides they don't have the size to vomit, tha's why they're so easy to poison.

When contained by doubt,. DON'T.
always consult your vet beforehand you give any animal drug. First try to figure out what is cause the rat pain, consequently either bring it to a vet or try to phone call a vet and see what he says.
I am not recommend this, but I have experience next to giving rats 30ml children's liquid tylenol diluted within 500ml of water. They are given this as a sea substitute for a short duration of time. This is odd as I thought that be the one that was potentially noxious to rats.
I am not recommending this, but I hold a book with a chapter on analgesia within small animals. It says to use aspirin at 120mg/kg every four hours.
I do, however, recommend that you consult the vet and find out what they recommend.
Here is a series of articles you can refer to! You probably want to ask your vet for the the whole story. Good luck!
I have not hear of any meds okay to give a rat unless given by a vet. Our hamster acted much as you described, crying out, it kill me. We tried to make him comfortable until we could acquire him to the vet to help his cross over. I'm so sorry your newborn is going through this. I'm sending hugs your way.
