After a feminine gerbil have be Fertillised, how long until birth?

this is a serious question my gebrils kept have sex then stopped suddenly


Answers:    21 days, and the feminine is immediately primed to mate again right after birth. they can have 1-10 pups, I've have quite a few occasion where I would return with 12 pups. I recommend separating the daddy now next to the split cage method until the pups are weaned ( around three weeks) so when you separate those the daddy will know their scent and adopt them.
